An Idaho sublease agreement is a legal document used when a tenant renting a property wants to lease the property to a third party known as a subtenant. This practice, called subleasing or subletting, may be restricted by the tenant’s lease agreement. Tenants should consult their lease agreement and speak with their landlord before beginning a sublease. And even if a landlord does agree to a sublease arrangement, tenants traditionally remain responsible for violations of the lease agreement, so subtenants should be chosen with care.
