A one (1) page lease agreement outlines the basic terms of a rental contract between a landlord and tenant. The agreement will include the monthly rent, term, and responsibilities of each party during the lease. Both the landlord and tenant will remain bound to their State’s landlord-tenant laws and is recommended the landlord use a rental application to verify the tenant’s employment and income.

Lead-Based Paint Disclosure – Required under Federal law to be completed by the landlord and attached to the lease if the property was built prior to January 1, 1978.
Move-in Checklist – Provides a written statement of the current defects on the property. This is to help protect the tenant at the end of the lease from having their security deposit wrongfully deducted.
