Wyoming Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

Wyoming month-to-month rental agreement is a short-term rental agreement that renews each month upon payment of rent. Either signatory to the agreement is free to terminate it at any time, and no notice is required to be given before the termination is complete. A month-to-month agreement is also known as a tenancy-at-will, and offers greater freedom than a standard lease agreement.

Minimum Termination Period

  • No statute

The State of Wyoming is different from many other states in that it does not have a law or statute that determines how many days’ notice must be given in the event of a termination of a month-to-month lease. However, 30 days’ notice is recommended.
