An Indiana month-to-month lease termination letter is a letter that allows a landlord or tenant to cancel a tenancy-at-will by providing thirty (30) days’ written notice. If the sender can’t hand-deliver the notice to the recipient, it is wise if they send it via certified mail so they can get proof of delivery. A tenant has thirty (30) days from receipt of a termination notice to leave the property before their landlord can legally begin the eviction process.
Minimum Termination Period
