A Connecticut month-to-month lease termination letter allows a landlord or tenant to terminate a tenancy-at-will by providing thirty (30) days’ notice. The letter should be sent by certified mail so its delivery can be tracked and officially recorded. The tenant has to leave the premises within the thirty (30) day termination period. If they don’t the landlord can initiate eviction proceedings.
Minimum Termination Period
