An Oklahoma month-to-month rental agreement is a legal document that governs a lease of property that may be terminated regardless of how long it has been in effect as long as adequate notice is provided. Landlords and tenants may negotiate terms, as in a standard lease agreement. Also called a tenancy at will, a month-to-month arrangement can provide the flexibility that some parties want.
Minimum Termination Period
A landlord or tenant may terminate the tenancy provided that the landlord or tenant gives a written notice to the other party at least thirty (30) days before the termination becomes effective.
