A Nebraska rent-to-own lease agreement enables a tenant to lease a property from the landlord, and gives the tenant the option to purchase the property in the future. The terms of both the lease and the purchase option will be determined by state law, and by negotiations between the parties. The purchase option will usually appear in a separate section, and may include a requirement that the tenant pay money in return for being given the option to buy the property.
