Nebraska Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

A Nebraska month-to-month rental agreement, otherwise referred to as a “tenancy-at-will”, is a legally binding short-term rental agreement between two parties. This tenancy has no formal end date and either party is permitted to terminate or amend the agreement with at least thirty (30) days’ written notice. Any amendments or terminations that occur are required to follow whatever rules are established by the lease agreement and recognize the legal minimum termination requirements in Nebraska. It’s advisable for the landlord to verify tenants’ incomes and backgrounds utilizing a rental application before completing a rental agreement.

Minimum Termination

Landlords and tenants have to provide each other with at least thirty (30) days’ notice to terminate a tenancy in Nebraska.
