A Louisiana month-to-month rental agreement allows landlords and tenants to set up a lease that may be ended regardless of how little time has passed. Also called a tenancy at will, a month-to-month rental agreement will contain most of the same provisions as a standard lease agreement. The parties can negotiate most of these terms, subject to applicable law, including the amount of notice required to terminate the lease.
Minimum Termination Period
In a month-to-month lease, the required notice of termination shall be given ten (10) calendar days before the end of that month.
