A Kentucky month-to-month rental agreement is a legal document that enables landlords to lease property for an indeterminate amount of time. Also called a tenancy at will, month-to-month lease agreements typically contain all of the other provisions of a standard lease agreement, such as responsibility for utilities. However, so long as sufficient notice is provided, either the landlord or the tenant may end the lease no matter how little time has passed.
Minimum Termination Period
The landlord or the tenant may terminate a month-to-month tenancy by a written notice given to the other at least thirty (30) days before the periodic rental date specified in the notice.
