Connecticut Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

Connecticut month-to-month rental agreement is a lease agreement that renews each month upon the payment of rent. The month-to-month rental can be terminated by either landlord or tenant at any time, offering greater flexibility and less security. In a tenancy-at-will situation, there is no identified end date, as in standard lease agreements.

Minimum Termination Period

While the law only requires three (3) days’ notice of termination, thirty (30) days is recommended in order to make the transition smoother for both landlord and tenant.
