California Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

A California month-to-month rental agreement is a tenancy agreement that does not extend beyond 30 days. The agreement can be terminated by either the landlord or tenant at any time, although there are parameters for how much notice must be provided. The California month-to-month agreement renews when the tenant pays rent.

Minimum Termination Period

Thirty (30) days’ worth of notice must be given if one party wants to terminate the agreement.
