An Alabama month-to-month lease termination letter allows a landlord or tenant to cancel a tenancy-at-will by providing thirty (30) days’ notice. The notice is recommended to be sent by certified mail with a return receipt or any other method where acknowledgment can be proved. After the thirty (30) day notice the tenant must vacate the property or be subject to eviction.
